“Welcome to my new website!  I hope you’re able to use the information here to learn about what’s happening with our campaign, in Lansing and in our community!”

Among the many bills we got through in the last session I was very happy to have gotten the bill passed that helped Auto Dealers throughout Michigan during the difficult economic default by banks and auto manufacturers. This bill helped the dealers open up old contracts and make the adjustments they needed to stay profitable and able to provide a full line up of new cars and the outstanding service we all expect.

We need you! Get on board now and join the Roy Team. The 2012 Campaign is gearing up and we’ll need all hands on deck. With the new redistricting plan Roy will now represent people in all three Grand Rapids Wards! We need to get the word out to our new constituents! Lots of jobs, big and small. You decide what you are most comfortable doing. THANKS!

The only way we know what is on your mind is if we ask! Roy has been going door to door for months, meeting new friends and rekindling old friendships. We’d like to know what you think. Click here to answer a couple of questions or to just leave a comment of your own.

Welcome to our new Campaign Web Page!

I’ve been walking door to door and talking to people about the way things are these days. Most people have pretty much had it with Washington and Lansing. They are fed up with the political games and want real results. They’ve told me that all they want is for their representatives to act on their behalf, not for the political machines that run things. Seems fair enough to me.

From now on I’m going to put politics second and you first. I’ll vote on issues on their merit and try hard to get my colleagues in the House to do the same. I’m not promising big results, but I hope my message is strong enough to be heard by them. To get them to take this route I have to lead by example.

It starts with me.
